Pap Smear Abnormal Cells
In taking a pap smear, abnormal cells can be demonstrated by venereal wart or other HPV pre cancer changes.
Yeast infections, trich, gonorrhea, and chlamydia lead to the inflammation of the tissue resulting in a positive test. After the infection has been treated, the test will appear negative. Women with positive tests should undergo regular check-ups until they have 3 consecutive negative tests.

Pap Smear Abnormal Cells -
Venereal Wart, HPV
If you appear to have positive test results, this does not necessarily indicate cervical cancer because abnormalities in the tissue may be related to other causes as well. Though usual, the tissue may not be cancerous. Abnormalities in the tissue may also be due to infections, HOV, HIV, and other causes.
