Pap Smear
A pap smear test detects abnormalities in the women's genital area, such as ASCUS, vaginosis, cervical dysplasia, cervical cancer, etc.
This test can be used to differentiate between several stages of changes in cervical cell formation. A swab of cells taken from a scraping of the outer lining of the cervix is placed in a special solution and examined under a microscope.
A pap smear test detects abnormalities in the women's genital area, such as ASCUS, vaginosis, cervical dysplasia, cervical cancer, etc.
