Bad Pap Smear
A bad pap smear usually means that there are some abnormal tissues on your cervix, warts or condyloma.
It should be performed when a woman is not menstruating and does not have any vaginal inflammation. The procedure is not painful and takes for about a minute. To reduce the risk of developing cervical cancer and cure the disease in the soonest time possible if the disease has already been uncovered, Papanicolaou test is used.

Necessary treatment is prescribed after positive Papanicolaou test results and repeat tests are done every 4-6 months until the results are negative 3 times in a row. Any abnormalities in the cells taken from the cervix and endocervix suggest a medical problem such as an infection that makes the cervix inflamed, or cervical cancer. A bad pap smear usually means that there are some abnormal tissues on your cervix, warts or condyloma.
